Shelly Thieme is a writer from Carmel, Indiana, a self-professed “Jesus girl” and a cradle Catholic who spent 10 years as a corporate communications director before deciding to stay at home with her children. Shelly is a prolific reader, lover of Michigan beaches, and all things Boilermaker. She’s a prayer warrior, and the chairperson for the Gospel of Life committee at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. This is a cherished volunteer role dedicated to helping others navigate through the challenges of life with the support of their community. She can’t parallel park, and she cusses a little. She and her husband, Tom, have been married 29 years and have 3 boys. The oldest, Nick, is an investment banker who is engaged to a spitfire named Katie and lives nearby. Drew is getting married this spring to a kind-hearted nurse named Erika. The baby, Zach, is a freshman at Purdue University whose brothers think he had different parents than they did. You can follow her on Twitter @shellythieme or at http://www.HeNeverMisses.com
